Black, White - Anything But Basic
I’m Rachel, from The Design Cure (Kate's bestie) and I'm hijacking the blog again this week so I can write about black and white shoes - and if Kate’s ride-or-die colour is pink (which it absolutely is), then black and white is mine! I’ve been buying the same pair of white sneakers from Sissa Sorella for four years straight. I wear them year-round, with everything from jeans to dresses to tailored pants! They’ve never let me down and they are so comfortable!
In my opinion (which happens to match my wardrobe!), there’s no colour combo more effortless than black and/or white. This little collection of Sissa Sorella shoes highlights the simplicity and style of black and white tones : all-black, all-white, and the perfectly balanced mix of both - and, since we talk about pink a lot haha, I didn't want them to get left out of the fun!

Whether your wardrobe leans colourful or you keep things more neutral, black and/or white shoes help pull everything together, add polish without trying too hard and play well with literally every outfit. They ground colourful looks and sharpen softer palettes. They're the kind of shoes that just work—no matter what else you’re wearing.

Some days it's about crisp white sneakers with denim or a midi dress. Other days call for black ankle boots or chunky loafers that do the heavy lifting. And then there are the black and white pairs which are beautifully structured and a little bit unexpected, that bring a look together with zero effort.

No matter your style, these are the pairs that earn their place on the shoe rack. Reliable, easy and anything but boring.
